Guns and Roses

No, I'm not talking about the hard rock band. *sheesh* people, you should know me better by now!

This Guns and Roses . . .

If you like romance, if you like suspense, if you like 'discovering' new authors, if you like getting more bang for your buck, then this is the book for you!

Ten stories for the price of one. Ten awesome authors. And all of them best-selling authors at that!

This is an anthology written by the ladies from Murder She Writes  blog. Buy it. You will discover new authors and enjoy some fun and/or disturbing reads!

Three of these authors are my faves, but I'm sure you will have other faves.

But I will say this:
  • Roxanne St. Clair made me cry. Okay-I cry at Disney movies, but I very rarely cry while reading a book . . . well, okay, I did cry during a couple of the Harry Potter books, and I did cry while reading Ghost Story by Jim Butcher, but that's it . . . really. . . maybe . . . I don't know. But it was a good cry!
  • Karin Tabke is really, really good at characterization. I loved her heroine--Rebel Yell Culpepper. How much more Southern can you get? Heck, just talking about her causes me to slip into my own southern vernacular! Plus she has a minor character named Mags. I'm MAGS! :-) Remember, I've been keeping safe watch over one of Karin's Blood Swords--Thorin. Man, do I love that one-eyed Viking!
  • Toni McGee Causey is seriously funny and writes a totally messed up character in Bobbie Faye! If you haven't read any Bobbie Faye stories, then you need to start now! It's amazing how she can seriously get into messes and yet manage to get out of them! I especially loved this story when Bobbie Faye lectures . . . Well, I won't tell you more, because I don't want to ruin the story.
Well, what are you waiting for?

Buy this now!

*no, I don't make any money from this endorsement, I just liked the book.*
*no, I didn't like all the stories, but I did like enough of them to think it was worth plunking my money down*

Later, Peeps!
