Once Upon a Time

And without further ado, my friend and fantastic writer, Karin Tabke!

Warning: Spew Alert!

In a land far far away, there was a noble Viking knight, Thorin Harraldsen, bastard son of King Harrald of Norway and a Byzantium gypsy princess. Thorin was one of eight fierce knights known far and wide as the Blood Swords. William, Duke of Normandy’s, elite guard, les morts.

Thorin stood head and shoulders above most men. His long, thick golden hair shrouded him like a cape, he was broad of chest and thick with muscle. In a Saracen prison when he saved a brother Blood Sword’s life he was rewarded with a scimitar to the face and lost his eye. He is ominous with his black leather eye-patch and sword emblazoned scar burned into his mighty chest. Despite his scars, he drew many a sigh from many a maid. Queens and princesses fainted in his presence so overcome with yarning were they. Aye, he was most handsome. He feared no man, no king, nor creature. Nothing on God’s green earth struck fear in his heart. Nothing…except--Lady Margaret of Tulsa.

For once she cast her eyes upon the noble warrior, his life became a living hell, for there was not a corner on earth he could hide, that she could not track him down and ravish him. Repeatedly. Aye, Lady Margaret had the nose of a she-wolf and the determination of a banshee. Not even Thorin’s brother Blood Swords could stave off the lustful lady.

And so, ‘tis this one infatuated maid who now holds Thorin captive as her sex-slave. Aye, the things she does to him, unimaginable to be sure. ‘Tis whispered she is insatiable. The Viking has not been seen since she snared him so many centuries ago. But ‘tis said, if ever you travel through the heartland of the Americas, and if you listen closely, you can hear Thorin’s cries for rescue and Lady Margaret’s sighs of satisfaction as she once again takes her captive Viking for another rollicking ride…

The End!

:-)

  7. LMAO! That was fantastic! And I know Margaret would be holding your character hostage! She is evil like that! lol

And stalking characters...hmmm. I've stalked my own character Jake, in my current WIP, and other than that, Zarek from Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter Series. That is one man I wouldn't mind taking a bite out of, or him taking a bite out of me, or would could bite each other--hmm or maybe we could just...wait, I better not say that here. lol

Great seeing you, Karin!! I'll see ya over on your site. :)

  9. Are you kidding? I ONLY stalk fictional characters. Mainly ones I create. Imaginary boyfriends are so much better than real ones. My friends tell me I need help. But, I refuse to let other people muck up my fantasies with their reality.

  10. Hi Everyone! I'm so glad you could stop by on Memorial Day. And I'm glad you enjoyed Karin's story. Of course it was pure fantasy.

    *banging on door, muffled yelling*

    Of course, I would never. . . .

"Be quiet Thor, honey! You won't like me when I get mad. Remember, you only have one eye left!"

Ahem, now where was I? Oh, yes, I would never do something like that. *chuckling* Karin has such an imagination.

  11. *Snork!* Thanks, Karin! That was lovely ;) As for fictional stalking, uh, erm, I'm taking the fifth ;) As for a question, Karin, is Master of Craving simply the third book in the Blood Sword Legacy or the last? There will be more, won't there? ;)

  12. Jody you're scaring me! But since you're here, I need some help with my boy Thorin. Ya see, Margaret is being a wee bit greedy, and I'm thinking if we double team her we might have a chance to rescue him.

  13. Margaret, honey, it's time to let Thorin out. C'mon. Pretty please.

  15. Cyndi, Roarke is Hawt Most stalkworthy.

Thanks for stopping by Liz! And God Bless America! We sang it in church on Saturday and nearly brought the roof down. :)

Edie, the devil made me do it! (devil=Margaret)

  16. Donna I want them all too!

Good luck going cold turkey Susan. Let us know if it works!

Kira, she is evil like that! Oh, I love stalking our own characters. it's so much more...intimate. ;)

  17. Oh. . . all right. :-(
*sniff, sniff* I'm going to miss him. Uh, Thorin might need some time to recover before you throw him to another she-wolf. Have a little chit-chat with your heroine and tell her that I'm coming for her blood if she does my man wrong. Okay?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Karin, the mere mention of us double-teaming Margaret appears to have changed her evil ways. I have that effect on people. It's a curse.

Thorin would be safe with me - I tend to go more for the bad boys. However, I can't guarantee I wouldn't corrupt him just a wee bit.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Don't believe her, Karin! Jody's sly and far more deviant, oops, devious than I am. Do not trust her!

*gurgling choking noises as Margaret laughs her ass off--and she needs to laugh it off cause it isn't coming off on its own!*

Uh, Jody, Thorin's a bad boy, a very bad boy, and he needs 'discipline'.

  20. Jody, Thorin is a naughty man, especially after Margaret!

  21. "Uh, Jody, Thorin's a bad boy, a very bad boy, and he needs 'discipline'."

    Poor poor Thorin!
