I should have saved yesterday's post for today, 'cause I got nothin'.
My life is not my own this summer as I have become Chauffeur Mom!
With one kid you wouldn't that that would be too difficult, but we're talking about me here.
This week we are virtually living at the swimming pool . . . no, not ours, but the 6th/7th Grade center. The kidlet wanted to do swim camp--M-Th for two weeks, PLUS swim practice T-TH. Each training session is 40 minutes.
Let's just say the kidlet is very hungry and very tired every night. The coach was very impressed with her butterfly--perfect form on her first try. WooHoo!! Now the poor thing is trying to break into the competition level and is swimming serious laps to get her endurance up.
I'm so proud of her. She's tried numerous sports, but this is the one she expressed an interest in and is pushing herself to excel. Its interesting watching her. She looks deceptively slow, but must have the most efficient stroke ever since she seems to out distance everyone who starts ahead of her!
And since I've just rejoined Weight Watchers and want to lose a serious amount of weight, I'm using the morning sessions to walk around the school for 35 minutes for four laps. I'll add the two evening sessions of walking next week since I don't want to overdue it in my excitement.
Later, Peeps!
