Scarlet Boa Contest

Yesterday, I entered Stella Cameron's Scarlet Boa Contest. Why? I had found out about the contest one day before we had five extra warm bodies staying at my house for six days. Yikes! Oh, I have a story, but I had to rewrite it--again, for the gazillionth time.

1) It had to be an introduction into your paranormal world--me likey my unfinished paranormal story.

2) It had to be less than 1000 words--I think mine clocked in around 825, and I liked the hooks on both ends of it.

3) I LOVE the challenge of a tight deadline. Today (9/25/09) is the deadline.

Perfect! And DONE!

I have no idea how many submissions she's gotten, but she's been supporting this contest for a few years now and I suspect the number of her entrants has been growing. First round of voting starts October 1 thru October 15. And yes, it is a popularity contest. Uhm, in case ya'll didn't get the memo, I have NEVER been popular.

And, of course, I'll post the link when I get the information. I'm going to need all the votes I can get, because I DO NOT see anyone reading all of the submissions!
